Charlie Fountain - Tenor Saxophone

The addition of the tenor saxophone to the quartet gives added texture to Lounging About's unique stye and allows the quartet add an additional flavour with improvised solos.

With hats clearly compulsory for any self respecting sax player Charlie has a particularly eclectic collection; although that pictured below may be more appropiate for pruning the roses. His latest headware addition, eagerly anticipated by the band's growing fan base, is the iconic Pork Pie.

In addition to Lounging About Charlie also plays sax with other local Soul and Rock bands.
